OK, confession here..... I HATE BILLS..... are you all with me here?????
So I find it irritating to sit down and pay bills even if it is just sitting down at the computer and doing it..... BUT NOW, I am responsible for all of dad's remaining bills, as well as all of mom's present and future ones..
I KNOW I KNOW.... quit complaining.....
I have just never been so confused!!!! There are hospital, ambulance, transfers, meds, and so on and so on........ I start by laying all the bills out in a row that would stretch all the way around my condo building... HMMMM maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration but not much......
Next I have to separate into what type they are to make sure don't have duplicates.
Then I try to reconcile EOB's with the actual final bills. OH MY GOODNESS!!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
OK, I feel better now!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Grrrr! I know your pain! When I was renting an apartment with friends in college, bills were doubly frustrating. We each had our own rent so that was ok, but we had to share the energy bill and the gas bill so getting everyone to pay, arguing over $20 dollars was such a pain in the a**. It is so much easier when no one else is involved, but now you still have to deal with the company you are paying and their different charges and this went up because of this and blah, blah, blah! Good rants, my dear!

I say, work for an hour (or half hour) then give yourself a treat (a real treat) like sit down and have a cup of tea and put on the most beautiful music you have and just enjoy the tea...and the music. Or wine, a cafe mocha, whatever trips your trigger. :-) So sorry about all of this. I pray that soon an easy rhythm to your days will emerge for you. ~ Blessings, Janet
I'm with you and I don't have near the load you do! I guess we just plow through them one stack at a time. I have to try and reconcile tomorrow. :-P Set time limits and give yourself a reward for each stack you get through!
